Description

This Berry Spinach Smoothie packs a punch with healthy spinach, fruits, juice and creamy yogurt. Rich in antioxidants and will keep you feeling full and satisfied!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1/2 cup fresh baby spinach, packed
  • 1/3 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or plain)
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 banana, frozen and cut into chunks (or fresh)

Instructions

  • Combine Ingredients: Place the frozen mixed berries, packed spinach, Greek yogurt, milk, orange juice, and frozen (or fresh) banana into a blender.
  • Blend: Secure the lid and blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more milk or orange juice. If too thin, add a few more frozen berries or ice cubes.
  • Serve: Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Frozen Fruit: Using frozen berries and banana creates a thick, cold smoothie without needing ice. If using all fresh fruit, add 1/2 cup of ice cubes for a chilled smoothie.
  • Spinach: Baby spinach has a mild flavor that is easily masked by the fruit and yogurt.
  • Yogurt: Greek yogurt adds creaminess and protein. Use plain or vanilla based on your sweetness preference.
  • Liquid: Adjust the amount of milk or orange juice to reach your desired smoothie consistency.
  • Variations: Add a tablespoon of chia seeds or flax seeds for extra fiber and nutrients, or a scoop of protein powder.
  • Storage: Smoothies are best enjoyed immediately.
