Ingredients
Scale
- 96 RITZ® Crackers (about 3 sleeves)
- 1/2 pound thinly sliced deli ham
- 1/3 pound thinly sliced Swiss cheese
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
- 1 teaspoon dried onion flakes (or minced dried onion)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare Baking Dishes: You will need two 13×9-inch baking dishes. No greasing is necessary.
- Arrange Bottom Crackers: Place 24 RITZ® Crackers, flat side down, in a single layer in the bottom of each of the two 13×9-inch baking dishes (48 crackers total for the bottom layer).
- Prepare Ham: Tear the thinly sliced deli ham into small, irregular strips.
- Layer Ham: Divide the torn ham evenly among the crackers, placing a lightly folded portion of ham on top of each cracker.
- Prepare Cheese: Cut the Swiss cheese slices into approximately 1-inch squares or pieces.
- Layer Cheese: Place one piece of Swiss cheese on top of the ham on each cracker.
- Add Top Crackers: Top each mini sandwich with another RITZ® Cracker, rounded side up.
- Make Butter Topping: In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter completely (about 45 seconds in the microwave).
- Whisk in Seasonings: Whisk the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and salt into the melted butter until well combined.
- Pour Topping: Pour the butter mixture evenly over the assembled mini sandwiches in both baking dishes, making sure to distribute it as evenly as possible.
- Sprinkle Toppings: Sprinkle the poppy seeds and dried onion flakes evenly over the tops of the sandwiches in both dishes.
- Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the RITZ® Crackers are lightly golden brown.
- Serve: Transfer the baked party sandwiches to a serving platter and serve warm.
