Description

This Whipped Pink Lemonade is a fun and refreshing twist on classic lemonade. It combines the tangy sweetness of pink lemonade with a light and airy whipped cream topping for a delightful and visually appealing drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons + 2 tablespoons pink lemonade powder mix (such as Country Time or Kool-Aid), divided
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1 1/2 cups water, divided
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Make Whipped Cream: In a medium bowl, combine the cold heavy whipping cream and 2 tablespoons of the pink lemonade powder mix. Using an electric mixer (hand mixer or stand mixer), beat on high speed until the cream thickens and stiff peaks form. Do not overwhip.
  • Prepare Lemonade: In two separate glasses, add 1 tablespoon of the pink lemonade powder mix to each glass.
  • Add Water: Pour 3/4 cup of water into each glass with the lemonade powder. Stir well until the powder is completely dissolved.
  • Add Ice: Fill each glass about 2/3 full with ice cubes.
  • Top with Whipped Cream: Spoon or pipe the pink lemonade whipped cream generously over the top of each glass of lemonade.
  • Stir and Serve: Stir the whipped cream into the lemonade before drinking to combine the flavors. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Pink Lemonade Mix: Use a powdered pink lemonade mix, such as Country Time or Kool-Aid.
  • Heavy Whipping Cream: Make sure the heavy whipping cream is very cold for the best whipping results.
  • Stiff Peaks: Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. This means that when you lift the beaters, the cream should hold its shape and stand up straight.
  • Serving Suggestions: Garnish with a lemon slice, fresh raspberries, or a sprig of mint, if desired.
  • Storage: Best Served Immediately
